Amtgard is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization that is dedicated to the recreation of the Sword and Sorcery genre as well as educational aspects of both Medieval and Ancient cultures. Amtgard focuses largely on a Medieval-based combat system but also encompasses the arts and sciences of the time, in a friendly, social atmosphere.

Amtgard uses safe, foam-padded replicas of Medieval weaponry. Anyone aged fourteen years or older may compete in the martial aspect of the game but we welcome members of all ages. There’s a place for everyone.

The Arizona Avengers were founded back in 2009. They’re an all volunteer-based charity costuming group located in the state of Arizona. They work very hard to accurately capture everyone’s favorite Marvel characters while they visit hospitals, schools, shelters, low-income recreational facilities, food, toy, and book drives. They work alongside other non-profits to interact with children and their families all throughout the entire state. Their goal is to make the world a better place by giving back to the community, spreading positivity, and enriching the lives of others through their costuming, commitment, and dedication to service.

The Arizona Ghostbusters are a costuming fan club bound together by our mutual love for the Ghostbusters license in all its forms and the personal pride and accomplishment that comes with volunteering. Our Ghostbuster costumes allow us to draw extra attention to many well deserving Charities. Since forming in 2007, the smiles and joy that our costumes have generated help us give back to the community and put great meaning into our group.

The Arizona Judges are a non-profit costume group local primarily to the Tucson and Phoenix area. They are based off of the Judge Dredd 2012 movie and we indulge in anything related to Dredd Comics, fan films like The Cursed Edge on YouTube and the infamous Stallone 1995 movie. The Judges enjoy anything from building costumes to helping raise money for charities. The group was started in 2014 and continue to grow and attend many events and love to put on a good show at TCC.

The AZ Legacy Rangers began as a small group of friends came together to reminisce about our favorite heroes. Looking for Predator costumers in Arizona? That would be us. While we focus on Predator costumes, we have a diverse group of talented individuals. Most of our members have branched out into other areas of costuming to include a whole host of villains, monsters, aliens and other things that go bump in the night. But we will always be the most feared hunters in the galaxy.




The Dune Sea Garrison is the Arizona chapter of the international Star Wars costuming club known as the 501st Legion. The Jundland Wastes Squad is the Southern Arizona Chapter of the Dune Sea Garrison. With over 5,000 members worldwide, the 501st, while not sponsored by Lucasfilm Ltd., is Lucasfilm’s preferred Imperial costuming group.

Members of the Dune Sea Garrison Jundland Wastes Squad strive to create movie quality, screen accurate costumes of the “bad guys” from the Star Wars Universe. From Stormtroopers to Boba Fett, from Jawas to Darth Vader we strive for quality and accuracy in every costume we create.

Beyond building screen accurate costumes, the primary focus of the Dune Sea Garrison Jundland Wastes Squad is charitable contribution to our community. We have helped raise thousands of dollars for many different charity organizations and have brought smiles to faces of sick children for years.

El TARDIS de Tucson is a group of Doctor Who fans and cosplayers focused on spreading the word about our favorite science fiction series and encouraging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) exploration.  We will have a number of interactive games and exhibits for you to enjoy. The EOD is a hobbiests dream if you watch any post apocalyptic movie, and think you have the stones to live in the harsh world left behind after the end of days.

From joining or creating your own tribe, gang, zombie hoard, or mutant mob, and gearing up for one of our events, to throwing on your body armor, equipping your Death Rally vehicle, and battling it out on the road. There are countless twists to keep you occupied.

The EOD participates in the Wasteland Weekend event in California, as well as hosting several yearly events in Southern Arizona. A calendar of events will be posted soon to highlight the whens and wheres of our gatherings.

Heroes United AZ is a non-profit charity cosplay group based in Arizona with a mission: bring happiness to the community one costume at a time.  Rather in homage to the greats of DC and Marvel Comics, the magic and joy inspired by Disney, or from anime and games the world over, HU strives to bring to life icons that we all know and love.

We do this to help our community and our world, be it at a library encouraging kids to read, or to the support of real world heroes at local charities.  We seek to support and improve the world around us and remind everyone that heroes are alive and well.

The Justice League Arizona (hereafter referred to as “the JLAZ”) is an all-volunteer organization formed to bring Arizona costume enthusiasts together under a collective identity. JLAz brings awareness to charitable organizations and causes, supports their events through dynamic DC character presence, and participates in unique and fun community events. The JLAz performs direct charitable events (such as toy drives, hospital visits, etc.) and seeks to educate others on the DC Comics Universe, high-quality costume creation, and ways to help their community. The Rebel Legion is a Star Wars based costuming fan club. The Rebel Legion’s members create and wear costumes of the hero characters from the Star Wars saga, which includes but is not limited to the six films, comics, books, games, and television shows based on the Star Wars saga.

Although started in the United States, the Legion is now an international club that encompasses multiple nations worldwide and has become the premier Rebel costuming group in the Star Wars community. Since the Legion’s inception it has been a volunteer club of costume enthusiasts who can enjoy, express, and share their interest of costuming with others in the fan community.

Star Trek Tucson is an open fan club devoted to celebrating everything Star Trek. We are more than just a cosplay group, we also pick various charities and/ causes in which to involve ourselves. We have a replica of the Captain’s Chair from the Original Star Trek Series that we can take to events. Our members all pitch in to help run booths and in some cases help find places where we, as a club, can be helpful by having a presence. All it takes to be a member is interest in Star Trek and a willingness to help out at the events. A costume is optional but welcome, the quality of which is never an issue. We also plan FREE social events for our members to come and hang out and do something Trek themed.

The TSS started in the spring of 2011 here in Tucson, Arizona not long after the local Wild Wild West Con. We welcome Steampunk enthusiasts of all stripes, from the mad inventor in his desert workshop to the fashion maven behind the hat shop counter.
